Promoting The Better Business Bureau as the place to turn to find “businesses you can trust,” we launched a TV campaign that hailed the BBB as the source to research more than 1,200 business categories, for free. To recruit business members, we placed trade ads that demonstrated how BBB membership could be a competitive advantage. The results? Online business inquiries grew over 60% in less than a year, and membership had its greatest rise in more than a decade.
